PIJITF
The Packaging Ink Joint Industry Taskforce ( PIJITF) represents industries active in the printed packaging value chain from the manufacturers of ink raw materials to food business operators. Policy on food contact materials is of particular relevance to the task force which jointly develops positions and approaches such as 14 key points that need to be considered in the revision of the framework regulation. Furthermore, it offers a blueprint for printed food contact materials and articles (pFCM) that could be applied to develop harmonised measures for all materials or as a general approach set out in the Framework Regulation.
